Slow
FBI
Suspect Zero

Overall:
After a disgraceful and almost career-ending debacle, Special Agent Thomas Mackelway (Aaron Eckhart) is reassigned to middle-of-nowhere Albuquerque. After investigating the remains of a brutal murder that was intentionally placed upon the state-line, Thomas is reunited with his old partner, Fran Kulok (Carrie-Anne Moss), and the pair discovers that there's more to this killer than meets the eye.
In the course of the investigation, Thomas is introduced to the concept of Suspect Zero, the serial killer with no set pattern, no fetishes and no slip-ups to end his bloody career. With this new information, Thomas uncovers a tricky little FBI secret that can either make or break this case and his job with the Federal Bureau of Investigation is on the line.
Likes:
This was an original story line that was, for the most part, written well. It had just the right amount of action and drama in it to keep it from getting too slow, although the beginning was a bit tedious to sit through.
The acting was above-par and believable. Many, many kudos to the avoidance of the clichéd love-story between Thomas and Fran.
Dislikes:
It was a little confusing if you didn't pay attention, and even then some parts were very insufficiently clear. More on Thomas' abilities would have been nice, and maybe a little more of his background would have added to the audience's ability to relate to him more personally.
In Closing:
I don't regret watching Suspect Zero. It was entertaining and it brought to light this new serial killer profile. It's damned creepy when you think about it, really. The pros and the cons of this movie sort of cancel each other out, which makes for a really average movie.
Some gruesome scenes, too, so squeamish beware!
